Now that cannabis is legal many places, big name investors and corporations are jumping on the bandwagon left and right. The most recent company to get in on the action is none other than Microsoft themselves.
According to High Times (http://www.hightimes.com/read/microsoft-gets-involved-legal-marijuana), Micrsoft joined forces with a group called Kind Financial to power “Agrisoft Seed to Sale” for the platform Azure. This software tracks the growth and progress of individual cannabis plants for companies.
This is helpful because regulations everywhere cannabis is legal or medical are so strict, and require stringent tracking of plant counts, kinds, and how they are grown. This software makes it a lot easier to keep up with each individual plant and not let anything slip under the radar. All new seedlings can be entered into the system, and then growers will know just how many plants they need to take care of.
“No one can predict the future of cannabis legalization, however, it is clear that legalized cannabis will always be subject to strict oversight and regulations similar to alcohol and tobacco, and, KIND is proud to offer governments and regulatory agencies the tools and technology to monitor cannabis compliance,” stated Kind Financial Founder & CEO David Dinenberg in an interview with High Times. “I am delighted that Microsoft supports Kind’s mission to build the backbone for cannabis compliance.”
As of now, this software is still in its infant stages. No one has opened a contract with Kind Financial yet, and it remains to be seen just how successful this will be. However, with much of the country leaning towards legalization, this could be a great tool for helping grows and the government stay organized. It will not be surprising if the next few years see many big-name backers following suite in the race to monopolize on legal cannabis.

Investing on weed is super smart especially with it becoming legal everywhere
It all makes sense.
Cannabis needs to keep getting legalized so it starts taking over industries that are not good for the planet. like the timber industry
I love what the world is coming too
The world needs to be legalized and it only makes sense to invest in this industry
