The legal cannabis industry in America is growing at a rapid pace. It is, in fact, the fastest growing industry in the United States. It is a growing industry and it needs manpower. If you are looking for a job in this sector then this is the right time.
While researching about the field will help you do well in interviews and impress people that matter, you do not really need to know all there is in order to get your foot into the door. Learn about the cannabis industry, its situation in your state, job openings for a person in your position, wages, career opportunities, and anything else that you want to learn. The internet will offer you a lot of information, and you may want to seek information from friends who are already working in the cannabis industry. Find out if a given educational background or certificate course will get you better wages in this industry.
Before you knock on a company’s door for a job or respond to a call for a walk-in interview, you should enquire about the company and see if it’s objectives are in sync with your thoughts on weed. For example, if you are going to offer your services to a company into medical cannabis, then you need to believe or, at the very least, have an open mind about the medicinal benefits of cannabis.
The team interviewing you will assess you as a person with whom they may have to spend a lot of time at the workplace. You need to come across as a good fit, someone who will contribute to taking the company forward.
When you get a chance, ask questions…to the interviewers and other employees that you may meet. You will learn about the company and reveal something about yourself; the nature of your questions will determine the impression you create on the prospective employers. Questions could be about the company’s stated position on recreational and medical marijuana, compliance with state laws, and general stuff about weed strains.

I feel like there should be more opportunities to work in the weed industry. Even though it is growing there is still such a stigma.
What ‘stuff’ should we be asking about weed strands? That is kind of vague….

At the end of the day the medical field should be doing more research and have larger contributions so we have more information.
