A Florida State student is facing felony drug charges after he was arrested on campus with marijuana and police found almost 4 pounds of pot in his apartment.
Nicholas Green, 21, faces charges of sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a college and possession with intent to sell. Green, a senior sociology major, enrolled at FSU in summer 2014.
Green was approached by FSU Police Department officers inside the Bellamy Building on campus Wednesday where he was arrested on a warrant. He had been established as a supply of marijuana, according to court records.
In his backpack, according to court records, Green had a glass container with pot inside, a scale and a grinder.
In a search of his Gaines Street apartment, FSUPD found 3.7 pounds of pot worth about $17,000.
