Santa Cruz County Administrative Officer Carlos J. Palacios has named Loretta Moreno as interim cannabis licensing manager to replace Dan Peterson, whose last day was Friday.
Moreno has been a resource planner in the Cannabis Licensing Division since January.
Palacios said her selection is designed to assure continuity and delivery of services to county residents.
The monthly general membership meeting of the NAACP Santa Cruz County Branch No. 1071 will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church Hall, 517 Center St.
